Seguin Business Professionals of America Students Win Big at Regional Leadership Conference

Kyle Fiebig, Area 3, Region 3 President from Seguin High School installs the newly elected Regional President, Katie Dallas, at the Awards Session. As outgoing President, Kyle will assist with training the new Regional President in her role.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, Seguin High School Business Professionals of America members traveled to La Vernia High School for the Area 3, Region 3 Regional Leadership Conference. Seguin High School joined over 233 students from across our region including students from Canyon, Champion, La Vernia, Long Creek, New Braunfels, Wagner, San Antonio Veterans Memorial and Steele High School. Kyle Fiebig represented Seguin High School as the Area 3, Region 3 President and hosted the conference. He installed the newly elected Regional President, Katie Dallas, from La Vernia High School. Kyle will continue to represent Area 3 as the outgoing President as he assists Katie in learning her new role.


Seguin High School members did a phenomenal job at the conference and brought home a record 129 placings and 82
medals. The 1st and 2nd place winners in the judged events and the 1st through 5th place winners in the non-judged
events will advance as state qualifiers to represent our region at the State Leadership Conference in Corpus Christi, Texas February 28-March 2. Seguin students will be attending the State Leadership Academy and also serve as State Interns. Seguin will be running the Texas Intern program at the State Leadership Conference. Sharon Booth serves as the Intern Coordinator, Tim Cantu will assist with the Media Interns, Kyle Fiebig will be the Associate Director and Seguin students will serve as Lead Interns and work in Intern Headquarters. Members are currently working towards recognition for their community service through the Torch Awards program to be recognized as Statesman Torch Award winners at the State Conference.
The Seguin Chapter would like to thank parents, teachers and administrators who supported these students with their projects and who continue to support our program in all areas. Advisors for the Seguin Chapter are Sharon Booth, Tim Cantu and Diana Weber.
